Westminster Listed Building

Phase 1 proposal for internal and external alterations at the first and second floor level of a mid-19th century Grade II listed property, set within the St John’s Wood Conservation Area. The property is in an outdated condition internally, and externally numerous alterations have littered the historic elevations.

Westminster Planning granted Listed Building Consent in June 2023.

Our design approach was underpinned by respect for the existing building, with proposals developed in response to a detailed appraisal by heritage experts, Bidwells. The objective was to provide exquisite modern spaces internally that sit harmoniously alongside the traditional qualities of the original building. Through careful planning we were also able to neaten the front elevation, by moving all drainage and vent work internally.

With Listed Building Consent in hand, works can begin to restore the property to a state suitable for modern family living, improve environmental standards, and create a fantastic master bedroom suite with a standout dressing room, guest bedrooms complete with en-suites and two symmetrical front bedrooms.
